Today is Michael Jackson's 51th birthday if he were still alive. My dad used to play his songs when i was young..when i was 4 or 5..back then when TV3's Muzik Muzik played chinese, english and malay songs. My dad recorded Billy Jean,Beat it, We are the World with the VCR and played them with loud speakers..:P
My favourite MJ's song is Billy Jean. Although at that time, i didnt know what's the lyrics about..i just hum to the rhythm..and i love the ryhthm..the drum beats..
If it wasnt for his untimely death, i think i wouldnt know what this song is about. 'Billy Jean , not my lover' is about a female fan who claimed that he has fathered her child.
His music transcends the language and cultural differences barrier. It doesnt matter you are black or white or asian, it's all bout dancing, humming and feeling good.
Michael Jackson, truly one of a kind.

no wonder the tv in spore was showing his concert ..
my earliest memory of MJ is his thriller music video followed by the song beat it .. but my fav song would have to be man in the mirror ..
