Sad Eyes

I was a beef lover - the double cheese burger, yummy beef noodles,marbled wahyu beef..I will no longer eat beef for as long as I could.

Alot of ppl are asking why, even my fren who wanted to order beef pepperoni pizza at Dominos for dinner tonite decided not to ,coz she knew that i don't want to eat beef. How thoughtful!

Well,it all happened when I saw a poor brown Cow tied to a tree with ropes, a day before it was sacrificed. He was quite thin for a cow. Earlier that morning, children provoked BrownCow by throwing things at him..what a pity..

His eyes was watery and he looked at me with those soulful dewy eyes.
I walked past BrownCow ,wanted to look at him a little longer, wanted to give him some water,wanted to tell him how sorry I was. But I couldn't do anything,BrownCow just looked back helplessly with those sad eyes as though he knew his impending fate..

I didn't stay to witness but this is how a cow is slaughtered here:

Legs bound, the animal is placed on its side.

A plank is placed between its legs to keep the cow still. A man then sit on the cow to keep it from struggling.

With a single motion of the knife, the man slits the throat of the cow and blood is drained into a hole. So, the knife gotta be sharp..else the cow will suffer a slow painful death..

When the cow is motionless, they will begin to skin it.

Then, Chop, Chop, Chop.

A cow takes nothing but green grass and water and supply milk..almost like a surrogate mother..Cow gives us all kinds of pleasure -apart from milk,think of all the ice cream, butter,cheese,yogurt,etc that you have consumed. In fact, I think it's the most giving animal in the world!

So,please do not tempt me with wahyu or kobe beef or cheese burger, fellas!
