Last friday, while i was waiting for the bus,i saw her, she just got down from the taxi, carrying a small basket with her. She didn't see me, i called her a few times but she didn't turn back..i didnt give up, coz i knew she probably couldn't hear me. Then i slowly walked to her and gently touch her arms. "Ah poh, hau mau?" i asked her in my slowly deteriorating Hakka, she was so delighted to see me. Her eyes lightened up and she told me how long she has not seen me, and wondering what i have been up to. That's my neighbour popo who watch me grow up, she is 85 this year, really admire her coz everywhere she goes, everyone seems to know her becoz of her friendliness. Barely 5 feet and wearing her cap,holding my hand, she related to me about her day to day life, her grandchildren, and many other things. i am so glad to have met her that morning and she felt the same way too!Time really passes so fast!And we had to say goodbye..
